The "Connection failed" error message is issued if there is no HTTPS network connection between the license manager and the licensing agent.
The cause is usually an internal network problem.
We now recommend that you check the following points:
- Is the correct agent URL entered in the registry?
- Does a firewall block traffic between the license manager and the licensing agent?
- Is the connection through a proxy?
- Do you use a self-signed certificate? Then check: Is the certificate trusted by the clients?
