What it does
This node inserts a new logical structure into your document, using the structure tree provided by a connected input node.
Use it for
Applying a new or updated logical structure to your document—typically when the original structure is missing, incorrect, or needs to be replaced.
How to use it
- Drag and drop the node from the Node Library into your template:
Node Library > Folder Tagging - Connect the node with other nodes in the Execution Flow of your template.
- Connect another node containing the new logical structure tree from the Data Flow to the Structure input port of this node.
- Specify the settings in the Node Properties task pane.
Tip
Before adding a new logical structure, it may be helpful to remove any existing structure and annotations using the Remove Logical Structure and Remove Annotations nodes. This ensures a clean foundation for applying the new structure.
Node Input
Connect a node from the Data Flow to the Structure input port that contains the complete logical structure tree that you want to add to the document. The root element of this structure should have a Document tag.
