Task pane "Node Properties"

Screenshot: Node Properties task pane

What it does

The Node Properties task pane in the axesFlip Designer displays the configurable settings of the currently selected node in your template. These properties determine how the node behaves and how it processes shapes or data from the PDF.

Use it for

  • Adjusting how a node interacts with shapes or data of your PDF document.
  • Configuring the behavior of the selected node through values or expressions.
  • Influencing the node’s output, which is reflected in both the Node Result task pane and the Document view.

How to use it

  1. Select a node in your template.
  2. In the Node Properties task pane, enter values or expressions into the input fields to configure the node’s behavior.
  3. Observe the effects of your changes in the Node Result task pane and Document View (only available for nodes that are part of the Data Flow). For more information about the different flow types, read the section "Understand Flow Types" in the Quick start guide: creating and editing templates in axesFlip Designer.

For detailed explanations of the available properties for each node type, refer to the articles dedicated to individual nodes in the axesFlip Nodes section.
