Real content incorrectly tagged

Description

This describes a failure condition in which real content is not tagged but instead is marked incorrectly as an artifact.

How to check this technique with PAC

Method 1: Check the tagged content

  1. Start PAC.
  2. Check the logical structure tree of the PDF in the Structure elements pane.
  3. Click on the Document structure element and check if every real content is highlighted in the Page view tab.
    Result: Some real content is not highlighted and therefore not tagged.

Method 2: Check the artifacts

  1. Start PAC.
  2. Check the Artifacts pane.
  3. Open the list of Page 1 and click on the artifacted elements.
    Result: Some real content is highlighted and therefore not tagged.

     

How to check this technique with axesPDF

  1. Start axesPDF.
  2. Check the logical structure tree of the PDF in the Logical structure tree pane.
  3. Click on the Document structure element and check if every real content is highlighted in the Document view.
    Result: Some real content is not highlighted and therefore not tagged.
