What it does
In this task pane, you can check your document for PDF/UA and WCAG issues.
Furthermore there is
- a set of quality checks and
- a set of AI-assisted checks
that point out possible errors.
The AI model is delivered with axesPDF and runs entirely locally. axesPDF does not access the Internet in any way.
Use it for
You can:
- get the number of PDF/UA and WCAG issues;
- recognize related categories of the issues;
- locate them in the document (e. g. in the logical structure);
- get information about potential for improvement (in terms of better accessibility or user-friendliness) by means of the quality checks and the AI-assisted checks;
- disable individual checks to speed up the checking process.
How to use it
Click on the Refresh button. After the check is done, you get a list of all issues.
The error messages are structured in different categories. Click on the small triangle symbol on the left-hand side of the issues to have a look on every single problem.
Double click on one error message and you will see it highlighted in the document viewer and the Logical Structure Tree pane.
Note
Right-click to open a menu with which you can completely expand or collapse the list of issues.
