Math Equations and Formulas

Starting with axesSlide 2.x, math equations and formulas are supported.

Here's how to export them to your PDF document in an accessible way:

  1. Insert each formula into its own text box. Alternatively, you can also insert formulas as images.
  2. Select the Role mapping button in the axesSlide tab. The axesSlide - Role mappings and reading order task pane opens.
  3. Assign the role Formula to each text box or image containing a formula and enter an alt text (e.g., with the linearized notation of the formula). For more information on role mappings, see the article Button "Role mapping".
  4. Done. Your formulas are now correctly exported to the PDF with the Formula structure element.
